022 South trip, Chile and new host family!

Since last time I have been traveling a whole lot more and done a lot of things. Like mentioned in the last post's title, the travel season definitely has begun! I've done a quick trip to Chile to get a new turist visa right before the actual, long-waited trip around the south of Argentina. I spent Christmas with my second host family. For New Year's Eve we decided to do a trip to Chile with my first host family in a city called Pucon, which is a perfect location if you are seeking adventure.

021 The travel season has begun

Every single time I start to write these blog post I curse myself for not doing it earlier, because I always end up having so much to tell and what is finally published is just a small portion of everything that's been rambling inside my head and what's been going on since the last update. There A couple bigger things have happened, like the trip to Caleta Olivia to meet other Rotary exchange students from my district - which was awesome, although we didn't have almost any activities. But, as we are extraordinary exchange students, we came up with tons of games and stuff to do inside one huge building. I don't even remember when I have played that much. Probably never. I felt like a kid and I enjoyed it!!

Finally I'm doing what I've been meaning to do for the last 60 days - a proper "what the heck I've been doing lately" -story time with exclusive photos of Bariloche on top of some other pictures that you are probably not going to find on Facebook. It's a good thing that I've been keeping an almost-daily diary of my life, because I seriously can't even remember properly what happened yesterday, let alone a few weeks ago...

Here's a quick summary of what's been up and what down since I last posted something in here:

018 About homesickness

I've been here 19 days now. I can't say time flies here, but it doesn't go slowly, either. It goes just the right pace in my mind. It doesn't feel longer than 19 days, nor does it feel shorter. It feels just like 19 days. But considering I'm going to be here for almost a year, 19 days is almost nothing. Still, already after my first week people have kept on asking me if I miss Finland, my family, my friends, and I always keep saying that I don't miss back home.
Why should I? I'm going back eventually.
